While some business ventures take years of ideation and planning before things get rolling, Abby found her e-commerce path as a happy accident. The Kringle Krate story begins with a Christmas Eve activity box that she created for her family members. Naturally, they were a hit. When Abby branched out to showcase her idea at craft fairs, the boxes went viral on social media.

Simply put, The Kringle Krate was founded by Abby Robertson, an aspiring entrepreneur and exhausted mamma. Tired of the materialism and expectations that often come with the holiday season, Abby wanted a way to bring joy and excitement to her family's hearts - thus, The Kringle Krate was born.

Greater Greenwood Chamber of Commerce – Pitch Contest (September 26, 2019)

The Greater Greenwood Chamber of Commerce, through its entrepreneur initiative, hosted its first fall business competition on Thursday, September 26^th at the Valle Vista Conference Center.

Teams competed by solving a real business case study and then pitching their solutions to a panel of judges. Participant’s solutions were judged on originality, clarity of idea, potential market, quality, and sustainability. Team “Kringle Krate” placed first and was awarded a $1,000 check, a 1-hour consultation with a business attorney, and a 1-hour consultation with a local IT firm.
